Two days in a row.

Two days in a row.

Today, I did it. That makes two days in a row.

Yesterday, I said I wanted to post a "Face a Day" every day, and I wanted to write, every day.

Two simple things, to some-

but somewhere in the 24-hour frame, I seem to run out of time.

Or energy.

Or my excuses intimidate me.

and another day will pass where I don't post. And I don't write.

Today makes two days in a row. And two is the only even prime number, so that must stand for something, right?

I also want you to know, directly before this post I had a computer glitch, and my paragraphs were deleted before I could finish- this is my second attempt at writing this piece, tonight.

I said:

It gets heavy. I won't lie.

some days it's genuinely easier to just not do it.

Some days it is easier to root for everybody else.

There is no cheerleading team to cheer for the cheerleader.

But this is me- posting two days in a row-

and I'm going to cheer for my damn self.

Every single day, we are faced with something new.

A new diversity, a new challenge- a new victory.

And every single day- we grow.

80% of the success is showing up-

The willingness to show up changes us. It makes us a little braver each time.
