Clarity - Yoga Sunday

What do you think of when you hear the word yoga?

When I hear the word yoga, I think of: Structure, Control, Balance, Angles, Mindfulness, Peace, and Clarity.

The combination of all of the above actions help create clarity within your mind. It is the ultimate goal in your yoga journey.

When you have clarity, you can accomplish your goal much faster while setting new goals without being overwhelmed. If you have a goal to achieve a harder pose in yoga or even a goal in your career, yoga can open your mind to the possibilities of accomplishing these goals. It helps you calm your mind and focus on what is important.

Yoga teaches you to take things one step at a time instead of rushing through your obstacles. It's all about life’s journey and how you get there. A person new to yoga doesn't jump in to a harder pose like crow or fallen angel. They learn the basis to achieve your goals. These goals are not easily achieved until you have structure and balance to clearly see the path.

For the longest time I've had the desire to move up in my career but I had doubts in my ability to achieve this goal. My mind was all of the place and had trouble focusing. I started updating my resume, applying to new positions and asking for more work while still trying to maintain my current workload. Doing all of these steps at the same time caused errors in my current work load and caused me to lose focus. This creates a problem and caused anxiety.

By incorporating the thought process with yoga in my desire to move up in my company, I now have a set plan that will make my career move much easier. Instead of trying to do everything at one time, I started with the basis. I updated my resume then I applied for new positions. I am now working on possible Q & A that my interviewer many potentially ask when I obtain my next interview. Taking these steps to open the door to clarity in my search for a new position, I feel fully confident in my ability to accomplish my career goal.

It took me a long time to achieve clarity in my yoga practice and even longer in my personal life but now that I have achieved this goal, I feel fully confident in my strength and ability to open a new door in my life’s journey.

Thank you for tuning in to Yoga Sunday and exploring the world of yoga with me.
